Working on the Boats

-----------------------------------------

Working on the boats is a necessary part of Sea Scouting. Columbia Ranger has been fortunate to receive several sailboats over the years. While a few have been in fine condition, most have required some restoration work.

The S.S.T.V. Delphinus and S.S.T.V. Columbia are our current training vessels.

The Sea Scouts are able to develop boat maintenance skills, as well as logging work hours against their advancement requirements are part of these projects. More advanced projects may also be used for the Quartermaster rank boat maintenance project.
