Sea Scout Ship Columbia Ranger

Columbia Maryland

Sea Scout Training Vessel Delphinus

-----------------------------------------

The Sea Scout Training Vessel Delphinus was donated to Sea Scout Ship Columbia Ranger by Mr. Melvin Johnson in October of 1999. The Delphinus is a C&C 30 sloop with a length overall of 30 feet 2 inches. The Delphinus has three sails (main, genoa and working jib) and sleeps 5 comfortably. She is equiped with AC and DC electricity throughout and even has the luxury of a built-in microwave oven.

Although the Delphinus was received in excellent condition, the Ship has put considerable effort into upgrading the boat's systems to meet our high safety standards. Come sail with us and enjoy this wonderful sailing craft!
