Scout Summer Training
CANCELLED FOR 2009
Date: 31 July - 2 August, 2009
Due to a limited response, the 2009 Summer Training event has been
cancelled. Plans are underway to conduct the event in the summer
of 2010. Our appreciation to all the volunteers who put this event
together. We hope to see everyone next year.
Work is underway to reinstitute the summer training
program this summer at the Navy Recreation Center in Solomons, MD. What a great idea for Sea Scout fun in the summer!
The attached link goes to the boarding manual. We encourage
everyone to review it quickly and provide your registration to
Fred Broadrup as soon as possible. Be sure and mark the
date on your calendars and we hope to see you all there.
Due to reservation requirements with
the recreation center we need to close out registration earlier than
usual. Units need to submit their registration before the middle
of June to reserve a spot at what should be a highlight event for the
year.
